Takes about 1.5 hours to get there. Best to leave around 7am. Get dressed and sign on by 9.00am.
I can take x 1 passenger & bicycle in my lpg ute. Pick up at Mick Mazza's 7am.

Notice that also you never feather the brake on end up hill left turn around gate, most of us are on caution for a bit of brake - you are in the bars Mike...no where near a brake lever

Oatley park scratch race (run by St George club) is the place for a good work out/get hill fit ride. The main factor of the circuit is a long say 900 metre? descent, to sea level, turn around at bottom and ride back up, then around a few loops and hills and down again. I'd say big dipper or back route. The vast bulk of accidents / near misses happen on those fast bits of the Princess Highway. As pointed out there is very rarely a call "over" on that Sutherland/lights/then left merge lane onto Princess Hwy as: 1. we are not really rolling at all 2. lights...

No, it's what WVCC call an 'Enduro' which means all grades race about 50 per cent more than there usual distance. A Grade will do about 60 km, B about 56 km, C about 52 km etc down to about 40 km for F Grade. Subject to the Commissaires discretion so as to space out the sprint finishes etc. Interes...

Yes winter rides to work I wear a Katmandu thermal undershirt, or something - Katmandu have sales and you can get them for $10 each (min of 3), some long sleeve some short sleeve, they work very well, warm for rides on a winter morning, no overheating, breath and don't collect gallons of sweat

Yes Leanne (RBCC) is in E grade race, there are ladies also from the SCC in race and - I'm sure Bill referred to me as 'big girl' for not keeping up with him at the start of the race... :roll:
