Don't know my FTP, however, whilst in Brisbane for work this week I used an exercise bike that output power. Maybe it can be calculated ?
I slowly ramped up the resistance and sat on 230W for the last 5 minutes of the workout. I'm around 75 - 76kg.

Re: Fitz's challenge rides in October
Hi Philip and Anthony, I would be happy to join you guys, although I generally ride with the 25's and would be way too slow for you. I might see how I go on a 28's ride first to see if i can keep up until the Audley turn off. Will have to be in a couple of weeks though as I am away this weekend. Che...

Re: Fitz's challenge rides in October
That was a great read. I was laughing along until I realised that would be me in less than a couple of months The only consolation is that doing the 165km I turn around after Fitz's hill.
What are the hills like in the RNP ? Do any of them hit anywhere near 14 percent gradients ?

I can vouch for the M7. In fact I managed to push out 42km on it this morning all non stop. Agree with everything Stuey has said. You guys a freaks !!!! The 105km was hard enough last year but peer pressure from my mates has pushed me to enter the 165km this year. I do recommend it though. As Adrian said, it is well organised and you can also fundraise for the Kid's Cancer Project if you so choose. I've only ever ridden 105km ...

I read cav has dropped 4kg's in prep for the Olympics. Not sure if that's enough to affect his power but may just open it up a little for the likes of Goss and Greipel.Yeah I reckon cav for the first week, then the GC, no green unless wiggins is out.

Hi Dougie, I think Simon's post makes good sense, but Mike's comment on the Gatorskins is also worth a thought.
