Ok - that makes sense. I've entered then.Jo, the Pursuit on the 30th is only for Elite licences.
There is a carnival as well, with the standard scratch/wheelraces etc events which is for everyone.

Hey all, Deus ex Machina have a swap meet with a roller derby on today if you have nothing better to do. There's a men's & women's category & the prizes are generally really good & it is really great fun! Plus since they are not proper roller but more of a trainer set up you don't reall...

As much as we all like to give what people wants, but the reality is that we can't with our limited budget. With an order of 3, not only will the cost goes up markedly, it'll also complicate the pricing scenarios we have to inform people beforehand. But if those people are willing to accept $180-20...

I think we should give people what they ordered - Long or short and in some cases people asked for both. i am sure they will be willing to pay the difference. As far as club stock goes - I guess stocking only short sleeve is a good idea to get the best pricing. One other thing - a lot of the trackie...

There is always the option to build a bike. My CF road bike cost around $3400. If you can get a frame cheap enough then its a good option. Cheap group sets can be found on ebay, I got my Force groupset for about $1100 from a local ebay seller. The main problem with going down this route is its hard...

I reckon this one will be better than the clarence st, hopefully more racing for us. I think there's some state titles linked into it though, so not sure what ill do, I'm probably in, we nowmally do both, though I think there may be a state title the next day too. Yeah Tim...it looks like you may o...

Re: Heffron 14-11-09 Race Report
I'm pretty pleased with my result finally finishing with the bunch and for me after a day at work that is not a bad effort for a 3rd race. Hey Terry, I think I have ridden Heffron 4 times (twice in E and twice in D) and still not finished with the bunch, so from my perspective your's is a huge effo...

Yet another Taxi hits DHBC rider
Tim (Othy) was hit by a taxi going to work the other day. I will let him tell you more of the gory details, but as usual - the cab driver was at fault. Tim was almost unconscious after the accident. He was pretty smashed up when Mark Hales and myself went to visit. After the cuts bruises and facial ...

We are on again this Sun and both Mike and myself are out of ideas this month. So we figured that given the recent Gong ride and Fixie Century, it's time to test everyone's legs again on the traditional Waterfall -> Audley loop. Prayer and sacrifice to the Rain God so that we can have a dry Sun AM....

After the usual coffee break and a look around the three of us headed off for the ride back at 11am. After a few stops at the top of climbs and another coffee at Waterfall and again at Brighton (coffee stops being more of an excuse to rest than a needed cafine hit) Actually with a return ride like ...

CADEL Leaves Silence Lotto
About time he left that Belgium team. Cadel and I are really close (he signed my book, he knows me by name...I am sure he would recognize me on the street if he saw me again!!...ok maybe not) But he is tops....a bit skinny, but still tops. Anyway - for those interested, here is the article about his...

Re: Ride to Waterfall Sunday 1st 6.15
Every year I've ridden to Waterfall and back leaving early and traffic isn't too bad alongside the Gong riders. How was the ride to Waterfall Geoff? I must say there were a lot of people on the road by 6 - 6.15am, but I think the return ride to Waterfall would have been free and clear. I guess ther...

Makes a big difference when you leave at 6 or 6.15. You avoid all the crowds. Once we got past Loftus - it was a pretty good run. We didn't get stopped at any of the hills at all. Stu and I were at the gong before 9.15am. Stuart and I headed off home and chose not to go to the pub after as we got th...

A year ago if you told me I was going to ride in the finals of the UCI track world masters championships I would of been over the moon, but tonight I feel dejected, because I made a mistake, rather than been simply out gunned, which would of probably happened later in the race. Hey Mike - Watching ...

Very helpful video. For spectators don't get to see all around the course. It is also very helpful for potential riders. I hope this makes it to the videos section as well as the home page for the road. Yep the Video looks great Simon. You are a Denton in the making. Stuart Webmaster is in Perth, b...
