I'll double check tonight, but I have a worn chainring, 46t I think, need to check the BCD (may even have the bolts); new chain, still in the box (with missing link), a few brake calipers with TT brake levers (may be damaged from last installation) or a top bar brake lever. Crash C28s 20 March
My turn as ride leader on Sunday’s C28s ended in an ambulance ride to Sutherland hospital. I was sent home about 3 pm, sore and bandaged, but no broken bones. Bike damaged, helmet destroyed. The cause of the crash was a touch of wheels in the bunch, which bought down the rider in front of me, and I ...

Yep, first Sunday of the month is skin suit and funny hat day.
Big turnout this morning, I was there by 7:30 and still only got no 86, start at 9:26.
I did 41:00, about a minute off my best, so happy enough with that.
Mark Lacey went under 40 min, riding Eddy Merx style;road bars and Garmin.

This makes you think.
One rider sued the other after a crash and was awarded $1.7 M.
I assume that the CA insurance would cover this for members.

I've stripped the thread:(
Does anyone have one spare?
I'm using one for a 12 tooth, but it is a bit too big.

Alpine Classic 2014. No room at the inn.
I'm keen to the ACE, but have left it a bit late to book accommodation. So if anyone has a spare bed, or would like to help organise a shared room/ride, I would be appreciative.

I missed the start of the 200 by about two minutes whilst queuing for the toilet. I could hear the rider briefing, but by the time I got out, what had been a scene of hectic activity was now a deserted car park. I did toy with the idea of packing up and going back to bed, but instead set off alone a...

Not sure why it came off, over many years it has been on the roof for thousands of km without incident. I think it was a combination of the strong winds, the wide rims, and carelessness on my part. It certainly was distressing see it in the rear view mirror, bouncing along the road. The components a...

Thanks all for the reports and pics. The ttt was as hard as anything I've done on the bike, mosty spent trying to hang onto Mike's or Mark's wheel. I knew that having lost one rider already, getting dropped wasn't an option. It was a bit disappointing to lose a couple of minutes to a mechanical, but...

Margo and I have a spare ticket on a whale watching cruise Friday 19th, departing Circular Quay @ 10 am for 3 hrs. I went two weeks ago and saw a few whales. It cost $40, but happy to take any offer. Not cycling related I know, but the forecast for Friday is windy, so you might loose some weight. PM...

Lovely morning for road racing at West Head. C grade was a bit different this month, with all the MWCC riders in one race and all other clubs in another, and the climb out of Akuna Bay was raced, nor neutral. For whatever reason I didn't have a good race and was just bunch filler today. Even though ...

There is a North Sydney rider going no-hands, at least the dhbc riders have their hands on the bars.Looking at the finishing photo, we are going to have to run a course for DHBC riders about how to be in the drops during a sprint.
Top effort Noel. Looking forward to more reports.
