Huw got mentioned by name on ABC radio news at 7:45 AM Sunday morning. No DHBC mention, sadly, but a big plug for Huw!
2010 hat trick time...
OK - here is a pic of Huw winning the 2009 National Penny Championship
The one in Geoff M's post that was also on the main page is from 2008 - the event site has not yet been updated. I have replaced the front page pic with one from a set by Flickr user jnatera, a spectator at the 2009 races whose photos are on public view at Flickr (click the link to see them all)
Huw kisses the cup
Also, congrats to all the riders on a fantastic effort from team DHBC including first time riders

There back !!!!!
Saw T-Bone and Stretch riding home from the airport.

The pic of Tim is in the Relay (reason for the shower cap), though the NSW 1 team (Huw, Tim, Me, Patrick Jones) crashed out, luckily team 2 was there for a medal.
Road race results were, 1st Ryan Sullivan, 2nd Huw Morgan, 3rd James Fowler. Simon gave some assistance in removing the 2 other scratchies from the competition by putting in a big effort for most of the first 6km past the airport, before pulling out in order to make a flight.

I was in some serious bother once I got dropped on the hill into Perth. I nearly coughed up my breakfast. Luckily Al was waiting in Perth with my warm Jacket. But well done boys that was a fantastic effort!!Simon gave some assistance in removing the 2 other scratchies from the competition by putting in a big effort for most of the first 6km past the airport, before pulling out in order to make a flight.
