Our friends at MASSBUG are having their annual 'chocolate ride' on March 28th. Is anyone else interested in coming?
Details are on the MASSBUG website, but basically you come along with your wallet and panniers (some people bring a trailer) and visit a series of coffee roasters, chocolate makers, gelato factories, pastry chefs and other hidden treasures of the inner west.
It is a really jolly morning for the whole family.

Hi Belinda and Tim
I'm going to be doing the MASSBUG chocolate ride next Saturday, along with my friends Sam and Kristie. So feel free to join us. We've yet to arrange a Marrickville "meeting point", but at the very least we will definitely be at Petersham for the 8.45am for 9am start. Cheers, Suzanne

I realised I never reported back on this one.
The annual Chocolate Ride is the biggest event on the MASSBUG calendar and I'm happy to say that DHBC was well represented, with six Slowies riders joining in.
For this ride, take your slowest bike and biggest panniers. As well as visiting (and sampling at) lots of yummy food providers in the local area, it was a nice opportunity for riders from both groups to get to know each other.
Definitely put this on your calendar for 2010.
