I stand corrected James. Its in the jan-feb edition of bicycling australia, the one with lance on a TT bike on the cover. Ill put it in your letter box today Tim.
i think theres atually about 2 or three repeated alot of times, and one of them is just a guy in a bike show looking at it for the first time.
Hey it turned out the magazine article was by one of the woollongong riders?!

well I kind of went and bought the carbon track frame. Pictures to come later.
If i think about things the right way i can justify buying myself a new road frame (due to damage caused by bent chainring), but i probably should wait until the dollar improves a little more, or until the damage decides to become structural.

Tim
As you saw me the other day on my Street-fire SSX01. I think the BMCs are great. Mine is the alloy frame but it is very stiff and I find the ride is fine too.
I am sure the Race-Master would be better. Go and talk to the people at Cranks. Michael at the Balmain store is very knowledgeable and would give you a good run down on the bike. I also know that they have at one in the store.

Yeah Mike at Cranks in Balmain (my LBS) will set you straight - good no BS advice to be had in in that store IMHO...Tim

Hey mcr - another Balmain DHBC member I didn't know about! - the other being weiyun. We all should think about meeting locally prior to the Sunday ride and cruising over to Marrickeville together?
Will leave home early this Sun for the Slowies RNP (if I even ride). 5:15-20am for 5:45am official departure.Hey mcr - another Balmain DHBC member I didn't know about! - the other being weiyun. Has to be a short ride this Sunday. Got to make sure that small people don't burn the house down making breakfast for their mother!! But I am getting back into Sunday rides.
Hey guys
I'm out this Sunday with Mothers Day and all but it'd be good to hook up on other weekends. Maybe we should exchange mobile numbers so on a Saturday (or whenever) we can txt to see what the others are up to n the following Sunday morning?
Rather than put a mobile number in here I'll IM both of you with mine and we can take it from there/
btw: I do a Tuesday and Thursday training ride with a good local bunch if either of you guys are interested?

Nice BMC. Is the Llewellyn family on a bike buying spree there? Interesting that BMC is going with the small rear triangle design again.
JohnR: I ride on some week day mornings. Currently it's varying b/n Bay Run with side extensions and CP.
