As some of you know, I am about to embark on a rather large bike ride. I am flying to Alice Springs on Sunday, and then cycling to Darwin, I have about a week in Darwin, before then heading west to Broome. Both of these rides are organised by All Trails who I did The Rock Ride with last year.

This is occurring over the next 5 weeks (8th June to 10th July). Unlike previous rides that I have taken part in, I am taking a computer with me, so I am hoping to update my website as time and internet access allows. I expect Internet access to be sporadic and I am camping some nights, so I will definitely have no access then. So check the website every couple of days for updates.

You can find my website at

http://www.jamescheetham.net

You will find The Territory Tour under the All Trails Heading, and the Kimberley Tour will appear when I have started.

You can also email me on my personal account which is my first name at my website domain (remove the www from the above address and that gives you my domain)

Sorry about the convoluted way of putting my email address in here, but I don't want bots to get it for spam purposes. So please, don't post it in this thread. If you can't work it out, PM me and I will send it to you that way.

I've put up a couple of days reports, no photos yet. I have a dodgy internet connection in Mataranka, so I am going to get a few more days reports up today as well.

I will hopefully get some photos up in the next 2 days while I am at Katherine, but failing that, I may have time in Darwin.

I've started the Kimberley Ride (as off Friday), and I am currently in Katherine. Lots of really sunny weather up here.

I am probably going to be off the air for a few days, as I don't think that I will be able to get Internet Access at the next few towns. The website is up to date, so feel free to read it and get jealous of the nice weather I have been enjoying.

I have finally finished updating all of the rides. All of the photos are up.

Basic stats

3,500km in 5 weeks, not bad considering that there were 8 non riding days. I averaged something like 140km/day whenever I was on the bike.

Total Cycling Time: 112:57:26

Longest Day: 241.19 km
Shortest Day: 76.64 km

Fastest Day: 34.90 km/hr
Slowest Day: 29.05 km/hr

Longest Cycling Time: 7:57:09
Shortest Cycling Time: 2:31:59

Highest Average Cadence: 102 (over 111km)
