Just get one from your nearest reliable bike shop, this sort of thing is pretty much the same price everywhere.

Do you need the cog to be in the middle or off to one side?

Which cogs have which offset? I need one which is offset to the outside.

Perhaps I'm just a new user caught out by forum sarcasm, but I have heard that different cog brands do have slightly different offset.

That's correct, my former track bike requires the cog to be centered and my new track bike requires it to be offset.

Dura Ace cogs on Wiggle are $18. Free delivery if you spend $100+ (get some tyres!)

Thanks. I got a cog before I posted that, I was just trying to figure out if I got ripped off or got a bargain as an after thought really.

Sorry, I'm not the expert on this topic. Bring your track bike down to Tempe on Monday or Wednesday night and the guys/gals can have a look
