ummm nah i was saying the opposite, that it was a good thing, he cut cut the price on purpose for me because of the jersyIt's a worry.
I've been charged $5.50, $5.00 and $4.50 on three consecutive weekends for the same chocolate milkshake. They just shrugged their shoulders when I asked why I was overcharged or undercharged on different occasions.
So it's worth double checking their bill as some of their staffs are not quite with it.
Yes, it's very good that the owner is recognizing our club and good for you. But maybe it was just a refund for the overcharges his staffs have made in the past.ummm nah i was saying the opposite, that it was a good thing, he cut cut the price on purpose for me because of the jersy
Certainly, if only the customer knew there was a mistake.just point it out each time its wrong if it is i guess
Jo, I am not trying to talk down the cafe but pointing out a factual deficiency there. Per any business, it's something they can improve on to make it even better. Blanketing factual deficiencies would not help the future of the business.I think that the staff at the cafe is tops. When we arrive in big numbers and create a mini chaos, they are never fazed and are always glad to see us. Much better service than we got at Bobos.
I should acknowledge the efforts of MikesBytes who originally spotted this opportunity and referred this through. Thanks Mike.Good news,
One of the owners Sasha and I have had a series of discussions and he is developing a loyalty program proposal which should earn us a minimum of $1250 per annum based on current patronage, and even more, for more business provided through us, and our friends. Stay tuned, we are about 4 to 6 weeks off making further announcements!
Because 1) I don't know what the correct amount is. 2) I didn't expect it to be $4.50 after past experiences, thinking that the correct price has gone up to $5.00. Anyway, I'll wait to see what they charge on my next order before a more in-depth enquiry. I am really curious as to how the price of a simple chocolate shake can vary b/n $4.50 to $5.50 from week to week. Or has it turned into a financial market indicator... "The Shake Indicator"?Why is it weird to have someone charge you the correct amount for something you ordered?
Till 1pm ?Today was a public holiday in the morning
Wow, that's serious market volatility!I was charged $4.50, but you did leave early...
I call that discrimination!Well based on our sample so far, you & I both ride Giants, where as sogood was on a Ridley. I think Alex's theory is looking better.
That's just too logical. But I have yet to find a menu.Could just check the menu price.... after reminding them the price when they get it wrong, they'll eventually get it right.
So, what's the price of milkshakes on the menu then? Has anyone actually looked? Is there a price or do they just do milkshakes and charge whatever they feel like at the time as it seems?Wow, that's serious market volatility! This is getting hilarious and I wonder if I should find the owner next time to find out the definitive price?
Have never come across a menu there and every time at the cashier, I could never find milkshake listed on the overhead menu board. I'll have to try harder next time. So, what's the price of milkshakes on the menu then? Has anyone actually looked? Is there a price or do they just do milkshakes and charge whatever they feel like at the time as it seems?
Then look it up.ive seen a menu
Well, one can only laugh at the situation given the irrational price fluctuations b/n $4.50 to $5.50 for the same simple choc milkshake. How else can one respond to it?My god is this post still got legs? Glad to see that it has got a bit more humorous over the last several posts.
Seeing as I am sitting in a hotel room whilst stuart is doing all the hard work and packing and organising our departure..I feel I have to have a say in this over worked thread.yeah just point out the price people!!
oK - Glad that thread is done. I am exited - I actually get to go on a bike tomorrow !!! Yu think $4.50 for a milkshake at Dulwich Hill is expensive, have some sympathy for me in France...a milkshake here would be at least $15aud minimum - with the usual coffee being $6 AUD. I just paid $20 for 2 baguettes with chicken and tomato...OUCH!! Us Australians have so got it made!!!!In any case, the thread is now done and can be closed as we have finally got the words from the lady boss that a choc milkshake is $4.50. She has affirmatively accepted that consistency and correct billing is the responsibility of the cafe and its employees.
Au revoir et c'est fini!
As said multiple times, it's not about the amount but accuracy and consistency.Yu think $4.50 for a milkshake at Dulwich Hill is expensive, have some sympathy for me in France...
Yes I agree. When I think about accuracy and consistency, it's not the Germans or the Swiss I think of... It's the FrenchAs said multiple times, it's not about the amount but accuracy and consistency.
Anyway, spending big on food in France is always a pleasure. Don't forget steak tartare!
That's definitely weird! But glad you didn't bring the Italians in.When I think about accuracy and consistency, it's not the Germans or the Swiss I think of... It's the French
What do you recommend?Sidi shoes don't go with jeans.
Perhaps these?What do you recommend?
None of the above. The floor is inclined to one side, and Michael was whinging about it.BTW G, do you have a leg length discrepancy? Or didn't you stretch your left leg properly during the headstand? If so, that's a 0.5 technical point deduction.
Fake. It originated from Specialized's web site.Wot do you think this is real or fake?
