Ah yes the dramatic replay of the evenings events, using the equipment on hand. The beer coasters were the track, the lolly wrappers were the riders and the beer was the adrenaline.

I hear that you really wanted to keep Tim's whipping for yourself , at an undisclosed private location. I can not possibly intrude.TOO LATE - HIS SIDE KICK HAS STRUCK...

Shame red got beaten at the end. Johno or (Anoyng as Craftie calls him), did a really good turn to break the gap, that is when I started to think red had it won as we were definately ahead. One rider lost it in the last 3, but I take my hat off for him anchoring that distance anyway. What a fun race that was.......especially when you only have to do 1 lap!go team green

RAW 1 LAP SCREAMER:
This weeks Div 5 heat 1 - 1 lap screamer was an all out DHBC womans race. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this photo. CHeck out Jess's face, she seems like she is just cruising and laughing her head off whilst Vic and I are putting every thing in it. Congratulations for Jess for coming an impressive second considering she hasn't even been training.
Yes WIEYUN: I know this still has copy write on it, but the fact is I will be buying it of David for our DHBC archives anyway and will email him tonight - and the photo is an actual link to David's existing site - not a download.

Nice photo!
BTW, I didn't make up that rule and we'll all learn to use that "will be buying it..." line in future postings. I think it works well for "now".

I take offense to the fact you are insinuating I am lying....but I will let you off without hitting you because you were patient enough to change my skin suit order last minute. But you only get one chance.
Because I know you would...just to prove a point. You are welcome to ring action snaps!! Go ahead...make my day.

The point is, we shouldn't ring up strangers we hear about on the internet. The cyberworld outside of our protected DHBC forum environment is dangerous!Because I know you would...just to prove a point. You are welcome to ring action snaps!! Go ahead...make my day.
Anyway, I carefully ventured to that site. It looked to be nicely designed and seemed to be safe from security risks, and is compatible with Apple Safari (v4.0.3). But I think the left column is tad wide (see the screenshot below). I also sent the website through a W3C Markup Validation test <http://validator.w3.org/> which noted 139 errors and 21 warnings. Ummm...
What do you think?
Hahahahahahahahaha
It's difficult not to smile!!!!! I'm on a bright purple bike in a wooden fish-bowl surrounded by my friends AND Simon listening to Paul's fabulous commentary. THEN I remember I'm supposed to be racing which makes me laugh and then smile some more when I realise that I was all caught up in my happy place that I lost the pack and got spat out the back!
That's pretty much exactly how it happens. BTW, I LOVE that photo of us taking off. It's a real beauty!

Series ends September 25th or some thing like that.
Yes...maybe you would have a better chance if your Friday night was free, although I think you would find that you would still probably try and get some cycling in on Friday night if you could.
I still can't get over Crafty's comment on the loud speaker at Metro's about breaking up with your girlfriend equating to a 2 second time improvement on the bike......cheeky...but I guess in your case true.

man im really happy with my A grade Debue, I may have to work on my Kieran tactics though, it turns out that my idea of getting on the front and trying to go really fast for the whole three laps, didnt work, but i was impressed that i sped up for the last lap It was lucky for simon it turns out though, that he was on my wheel, and the increased speed, made it harder for other riders to fly past him, and had him in the box seat for a win from second wheel (especially as one of the main competitors was the pad i went past at the start, who was then boxed out of the race).
man i didnt actually hear this at the time! i had the aero helmet on, it blocks noise!!I still can't get over Crafty's comment on the loud speaker at Metro's about breaking up with your girlfriend equating to a 2 second time improvement on the bike......cheeky...but I guess in your case true.

Yeah bummed I missed out by 1 point, but then again.... my crap ride in the miss'n'out probably saved me. Great stuff from the rest of the 6 that made it in.Six of us have managed to make it into the Hillbrick wheel race, thats a pretty good effort. I managed to scrap through even with my disapointing ride in the miss and out on Friday.
David took some AMAZING photos of the crash in the DIV.3 miss'n'out. I wasn't sure whether I was allowed to post them or not so I haven't.

I don't understand how DHBC could be so far ahead of the other clubs, ie 50.91 points per rider vs 29.56 points per rider for the next club.
Proximity to a good quality track seemed to help ie. DHBC and Bankstown.
Massive Congratulations DHBC on the team win. As Tim has said previously no-one could of ever dreamed this possible!
It is like Simon Llewellyn woke up one morning thinking he was Martin Luther King and started to preach “I had a dream”
Once again well done to all that made this possible!
