Hey Guys I'm not sure if it is being televised or not but we have a team in for the Dick Smith Cycle Grand Prix being raced at Homebush today as part of the V8's.

It should be a good one to watch. There's some big names racing; Mark Renshaw, Cameron Meyer, Jack Bobridge, Allan Davis & a host of other top riders.

Our team is me, tim, Alex Ramsay & Alex Chubb.

Racing starts at 12 noon. Check it out!!

Cheers Simon.

Ok.. We went for gold and instead came back with a neat as photo of simon and mark renshaw!! Who we raced against!! Seriously that's up there with riding the worlds for me!

Honorable mention goes to Alex chubb who made it the furthest of our riders with 4 laps. I was retired unable to breat with more painful lungs than a smoker in the running of the bulls! So to make it 4 laps, alex is seriously on his way up! I can't emphasise enough what a mamoth achievement it was. Speeds of around 50kmphto 60km along the straits etc.

Yeah well done guys. Simon mentioned the pace was fast from the start, must have been amazing just to race with them. Simon looks like an absolute giant next to Mark Renshaw.

If you used the V8 circuit then it is 3.22 km.

The race was on TV this arvo. Most of the footage was from the attacks off the front, saw bunch of Red in some shots. I only got one photo which includes neither Simon or Alex looking after the racing.
