Heffron Park Tuesday Night Racing
What are the details for this racing series?
Has this started yet? What time do I have to turn up by? Which grade should I enter?
I'd like to get out to this series as I haven't been racing Saturday and would otherwise be doing laps of Centennial on a Tuesday night.

This is a good route.Does anyone know the best (safest) route from Centennial Park -> Heffron Park at 5pm on a weekday?

I suggest C Grade (That's what I will be riding). It's different racing from Saturdays. Being a handicap where you are competing against the other grades it is fast from start to finish. If you get there by 5:45 you should be fine (although you can enter right up to 6 if you are running late). There should be a few of us riding so hopefully see you there.

Now I'm working in the CBD, this one is doable
I had a good time. Alex & Myself in C grade, Will in B. Wind was coming across the straight from the left, so basically a crosswind everywhere but the entrance to the squircle.
The race was a complete mess, no one rolling through for turns. Probably what could be expected for the first night out. I found the pace pretty easy and pulled most of a lap early on because no one rolling through. After that I just hung mid bunch and spent most of the time on the windy side as anyone out of the top 10 was in the gutter. It was absolute madness when all the grades joined at the bell lap - seemed like 100 riders all trying for position with nowhere to move. It was crazy cornering with 4-5 riders across. I finished somewhere in the bunch, possibly 400th given its size.
Average speed for C grade was a leisurely ~38km/h.
I had a slow leaking flat that required pumping 3 times to get me home. Really need some new tires.

I was at work last night (heffron park swimming pool) and got the chance to yell out 'GO DULWICH HILL' at alex and othy through the fence as they went past just after the start/finish line. Didn't get to see them finish but. I also stood on the grandstand for a bit to check out the race...great view from there.

What's the go with registration for these? Can I just turn up and do it on the night or do I need to register ahead of time?
Unless it has changed recently, it is just show up with Race License and $10. Start is at 6pm, so get there 15 minutes early or so to enter and warm up.

Ill be racing tomorrow night, but sadly i dont have an extra jersey.
I'm a small....I've been waiting on the jersey order for sometime - the XL used to fit once. If you don't find a better deal you're welcome to it - I won't be doing any riding until after Christmas.I could use it like a main sail I am a medium but I guess beggers can't be choosers
I found a better deal...lucky tim was home so I grabbed his club shirt off him...cheers for the offer othyI'm a small....I've been waiting on the jersey order for sometime - the XL used to fit once. B grade bunch was actually rather large today. Simon and I sat in with the bunch till about 8 laps to go when we began to make our way towards the front. Some how the bunch turned off and with 6 laps to go we found ourselves off the front with one other rider and had no real choice but to just go for it. In the end we held a pretty decent gap over the bunch till we were swept up by a combined A & B bunch with 2 laps to go. I think if it had just been myself and simon we may have commited more to the break away and held out even longer.
