The budgy smuggler saturday slowies -19 Dec
In the tomorrow's slowies ride to CP I will wear budgy smugglers to see how comfortable it is to ride in them in aero position, as I might be doing my triathlon in them. Just so that others don't feel left out, here's an offer to consider:
For the CP ride this Saturday, if you turn up in budgy smugglers, I will shout you a coffee after the ride. If you turn up in masculine pink budgy smugglers, I will shout the whole breaky.
PS: This offer expires on Saturday 19 Sep 2009

that is to funny, i think you should turn this into a yearly event.
it would also be a good way to work on our great tan lines we get as cyclists.

Yearly is too less. Maybe once every three months will be go0d to add a bit of fun to the weekend rides. Hope to have more participation for the next budgy smuggler ride. Here are some more photos:that is to funny, i think you should turn this into a yearly event.

Budgy smuggler saturday slowies is back this Saturday - 19th Dec!
As you know that three DHBC musketeers are ready for le tour de Disneyland, we will be doing the test ride on Saturday (19th Dec) at centenial park. But that doesn't mean only we get to have all the fun. You know last time Tim and I had a riot. So join us in budgy smugglers. Go to
http://budgysmuggler.com.au/smugglers and choose your pair.
Also, don't forget to recommend a colour for Anthony and Tomas by Tuesday 15th Dec 2009 (tomorrow).

Thanks to Tim, Mike, Jules, Anthony and Tomas for being a good sport. Painted in red body paint and red budgy smugglers, Mike was the best santa ever! Jules went straight to work after the ride, still wearing aqua smooth operator budgy smugglers, when his boss asked him "Did you party hard last night?!" Rest of the story is best to be heard by Jules himself
Tim helped the smuggler slipstream set the cracking pace as we did some fast laps around the park, followed by Tomas who was having some good time. Anthony entertained everyone by puncturing his tire thrice... though I suspect it was his strategy to rise higher in the flat tire competition. It was confirmed when we discovered he had hidden debris in his tire to puncture any new tube you'd put in it.
Finally thanks to all the DHBC cyclists who joined us this morning and entertained everyone with their funny comments. Also, a million thanks to our photographer Brian who has done a brilliant job at taking the stills. Waiting for the video uploads!

well I have a nice version of the video that is a measly 4.8 GB which is a bit big, the smaller versions I have experimented with so far have been very poor, so now I am trying to make it smaller with quick time...
Well the video can be seen here. I have much higher quality versions that the ones that are compressed too much for internet streaming.
