This was the result of a nice easy ride from taking the car to get serviced.

Damn. What happened?

Those Planet-X titanium frames don't have replaceable hangers, hopefully it can be repaired.

I'll take it to Bundy to get straightened out.

I was riding up Renwick st, and changed gears. The chain must have jammed or something, so the derailleur was torn in half and i only noticed the bent hanger after the walk home.

I bent mine a few weeks ago on a gorges ride I got stuck in a crevice in the road, fell off and then Simon ran into me ) It wasn't as bad as yours though and I was able to fix it by giving it a yank with an adjustable spanner.

Derailleur rebuild..... Fail. It seems i've lost a nylon washer/spacer on the road when the derailleur was torn apart.

I think i'll scavenge from my touring bike for now, and hopefully get a new derailleur before Bright.

Not pretty. Glad you had Ti though. Had the same thing happen in a move once. Frame dropouts bent back into shape in minutes but derailleur gone for good.

Happy riding once its fixed
