Potentially a roller derby given the forecasts?
Yeh I think a roller derby is most likely.... I'm keen for that though?
We could always do a madison, and everyone who comes can watch me blow up after 20 laps and spew my guts up... Im sure everyone's keen to see that!
On a more serious note - Tim Im keen for whatever you decide! Im trying to work on my fitness again so I'd be happy for some longer events?

How did it go?
It was really fun and relaxed, we had one big 70 lap race before the rain with men and women's A grade, as well as a very classy B grade.
The weather was damp when we turned up but a nice blue sky with surrounded by some clouds, and it looked like it would only get better.. It didnt, but luckily we (after an hour of prep and tyre changing (and two new additions to the ride the rollers club)) jumped on the track quick smart.
A grade women started the race with a smooth pace line, followed shortly by the combined A-B grade bunch who decided to keep the pace steady for the first 30 or so laps, admiring the different sounds coming from Chris Toff's shiney white back wheel disc, which was gleaming in the sun which had that extra bright and clean shine that seems to happen after it rains, drying the velodrome for us. There were a few attacks from Lizanne off the front, and a strong showing from Amy (vics) and Linda, as they were everntually joined by Andrew as the pack began to break later in the race. There was an intermitant sprint which was won by Lizanne, and the longest stayer was Lizanne who continued on with Andrew for line honours.
In the A B grade battle there was a spot of rain sprint, which was lead out by simon, though I was quickly onto his wheel, and this turned into a lap the feild break away. On the 50th lap there was a sprint which Toff didnt hear the call for, and the race was then a continue of attack after attack between the Llewellyn brothers before eventual rain out around the 70 lap mark.
Special note goes to the coolest pair of track shoes i have ever seen down at tempe by Linda, i dont know if we have any pics to post, but they were a cross between a new pair of swing dancing shoes and some bonts.
