Anyone apart from Al have tried one of those old styled leather cycling shoes? I wonder how well they worked?

Brownie was selling Duegi shoes, but he's got none left. He got them from Hillbrick Cycles a year or so back. There's none in Australia. I rang a bike shop in Melbourne that also bought up a whole bunch, but they are out of stock too. Expect to pay over $300 if you can find them!

I also e-mailed business cycles in the US because their website said they had some, but no reply, and the website link seems to have disappeared.

The closest I can find is a current model made by Adidas, which is designed to look like the old style wooden soled shoes. I thought I saw them on special at Parker Int. but apperently no more.

Here's the details: Adidas Cycling Super Pro Classic Shoes

I've seen some shiny black Nalini shoes on a few websites (also available in silver). Think i've seen another brand, but i'll have to see if i remember.
