Hi all,
If you've been through Game of Thrones, The Wire, Borgen, The Bridge, etc and are looking for a new binge-TV experience, may I point you in the direction of "De Ronde".
It's a 2011 Flemish series set against the backdrop of the 2010 Tour of Flanders. There's some fantastic behind the scenes footage of the race telecast, but the race itself only makes up about 10-15% of the story - the rest compromises a series of different subplots, most of which are fairly engaging.
It's kinda like "The Slap" crossed with "A Sunday in Hell".
I watched all seven hours of it over two nights and highly recommend it, especially for cycling nuts.
Below is the summary of the show, plus links to all seven episodes on Vimeo.
Enjoy!

Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010.
In the city of Bruges the bustle and hustle of 198 riders signals the impending start of the 94th Tour of Flanders. Along the course, scores of supporters eagerly await their favourites, with millions of others watching ‘Flanders’ finest’ on radio or television. But the race is not the only life-changing event to befall Flanders today.
Against the backdrop of this historical edition of the Tour of Flanders, the fiction series The Tour tells of one day in Flanders, a day of good intentions and bad outcomes, treasured friendships and base treason, the story of a handful of people who, much like the riders, have everything to win or to lose.
Jan Eelens latest series is his most ambitious as of yet: an uncompromising, poetic ensemble narrative filled with larger-than-life characters, intertwining fiction and non-fiction in unprecedented ways.
