The Valley Wheelers Royal Tour - October 1st & 2nd - Mudgee to Hill End

Hi Everyone,

Time has come book-in for our Valley Wheelers annual tour. A 2 day (with 1 overnight pub stay) bicycle tour in the lovely Lower Hunter Valley. Can you please let me know if you'd like to join us on our Royal Tour. This year has a new route and we'll be staying at the Royal Hotel Hill End.

The Valley Wheelers are DHBC members with a passion for vintage & retro bikes. This tour is a chance to ride retro, although not mandatory it's always encouraged.

Tour distances will be around 85kms per day with stops for lunch and afternoon tea. Roll-out from Mudgee on Saturday is around 10am.

Route:

Mudgee to Hillend - Saturday 1st October
Return to Mudgee - Sunday 2nd October

Mile Munches Extender:

Up for discussion. Last year we rode Lithgow to Mudgee on the Friday before, however we've had a suggestion that we do a Thursday/Friday route of Sydney to Mudgee. Let me know if your interested.

Cost should be round $120 for the weekend & this includes ALL MEALS and Saturday night accommodation (including Saturday evening dinner & Sunday breakfast).

The prologue riders for the Valley Wheelers' Royal Tour are currently riding from Lithgow to Mudgee.

Temperature is hovering on 7C, it is bucketing down, wind is at 30kmh with gusts to 61kmh.

And it's a headwind.
