Monday Madison Mayhem - First Monday of the Month

First Monday of each month we will hold a Madison as the main part of the training session. Something like 60 laps at least. This if for faster track riders with (preferably) some experience riding a madison. We can train a few riders beforehand if they are keen. Bring 2 matching jerseys if you have kit other than DHBC, and maybe a bucket ....
First night is this Monday 4 April

Hey john

Im an amateur photographer I was wondering if I could come down and take some shots of you guys zipping around the velodrome. If not tonight as looks like I might be held back at work then on weds and possibly the following week. I ride pretty solidly on the east hills ride and some of my photos have been used on the clubs instagram page. If its an issue and is too intrusive its not a problem in the slightest.

Well our first Monday Madison was mostly Madison training. We had 5 pairs riding as a paceline with each pair having a turn to try to lap the bunch. Then final 20ish laps was a race. We all survived Terry's his first madison, and Adrian Triccas and Caitlin Williamson impressed with their endurance and speed.
Next Madison night will be on Monday 2nd May.

Its the first Monday of July and time for another Monday night Madison. (at last says Ben). This will be something like a 60 lap Madison - not really suitable for those who have never ridden one. You can watch some of the 2014 world championship madison here

Monday Madison on tomorrow night at Tempe. It was great to watch Bill and Tom Bolton win the Madison at RAW Friday night just beating Bro Caley and Tom Cornish. Anyone able to operate the lap board for the 30 minutes or so it will take ?

Monday 5 December is the last Monday Madison Mayhem night before the Xmas carnivals. This will be a training madison so no need for a race licence, but at the same time not suitable for absolute track beginners.
