Shane Kelly versus Ben Kersten today
Stretch, I think you may be able to modify the post to include a poll - go to edit, then check.
I don't know much about the form of either, but I reckon Kersten, too.
I hope someone posts a video of the contest on YouTube.

I would think Kersten but Kelly just doesn't seem to slow down...

The spot was for 3rd man in the team sprint. I'm not sure why they chose 625m when they will be riding 750m in the event? But 0.5 sec is quite a decisive result. It's close but the event is often won by 0.1 sec. France beat Britain in the worlds by 0.5 sec and it was viewed to be a bit of a whipping...
Australia finished fifth, interestingly with Kersten riding...But look how evenly matched the Netherlands and Britain were.

I guess Kersten gets a second chance. I can't see Kelly riding Olympics at 40.

Third chance? Can't be too good for the confidence, there could be another young up and coming contender by then, there always is...
