I have a visual impairment and am looking for a person or people to ride with on a regular weekend basis on a tandem.
I have a little experience riding on a tandem. At the moment I am able to ride a bit over 30km. I am more comfortable riding on a cruiser rather than a racer. I have recently been on rides in Gosford and Canberra. I am trying to find someone to ride with closer to home. I live in Marrickville.
I have my central vision but I have lost my peripheral vision. Therefore I am not able to ride on a single bike. I used to ride a bike when I was younger and I would prefer to ride outdoors as opposed to riding on a standing bike at the gym. I would like to ride for reasons of both fitness and recreation.

Yay Geoff!
Thanks for that Geoff,
I just spoke to Susie and will be meeting up for a ride at Homebush in the next few weeks but I dont live very close to Susie so a regular ride is tricky.
I told her how the Saturday slowies guys are a great bunch, so she is looking forward to catching up.
Karen.
