Hi all,
Just wondering if the ride to Waterfall is still on due to the weather conditions?

Cheers

Well unless its completely flooding tomorrow morning, I will at least attempt to ride. Hopefully there will be a couple of other riders as well.

Officially the ride is off when raining (risk, liability etc). However, individuals often still brave the weather per usual schedule, pending severity of weather.

No worries,
I will turn up and if its goes ahead then I will be in, if not I will spend a day home.
Hopefully the weather will hold off.
Cheers

Which bunch are you planning for? If the weather is poor, you may have a better chance of meeting a ride buddy if you show up early and wait.

Hopefully if the weather is good I will ride. If it is raining though - I will be a no show. I will turn up at 6.15 for the 6.20 group.

Too wet for us as the downpipe rain alarm was dripping away this morning and the radar said RAIN! Two sleep-ins in a row ... bliss.

Hi,
Ended up going and met with a couple of the guys and Fiona.
Had a great time and enjoyed the whole ride.
Will be there for another one.

Cheers

What was the weather like Mike? I woke up at 5.45, looked out the window and went straight back to bed.

It rained/showered until about 5.50 then stopped for about 10mins had another small shower then it blew over.

I waited until 6.20 and started to head back and then saw the others.

The actual ride weather was great.

cheers

You missed out Alex! I took a look at the radar at 620 and it looked like no rain for at least 1.5 hours or so. I left at 645 and didn't get a drop of rain. Saw Pete, Mrs Pete, Andre and Mark and that was it from DHBC. I probably saw 6 other riders on the whole ride. Did the whole thing solo and was back in the door by 910. My bike was (and still is) in a bit of a state though.

Matt, you were the only one that didn't go for a coffee

Yeah, it may not have rained but I was still pretty wet and didn't particularly feel like getting cold at the cafe. Banana bread is great but gets trumped by a hot shower in certain circumstances.
