Why not enter the World Masters Games as well?

Competition dates:
Track: 10-13 October 2009
Criterium: 14 October + 18 October 2009
Individual time trial: 15 October 2009
Road race: 16-17 October 2009

That gives you a week to recover before the championships!

Cycling at the World Masters Games from 10-17 October. Not a UCI event.

Based on Mike's announcement, he has entered the first one.

Mis-communication. He entered the World Masters Games, not UCI xxx Championship.
