The New York Times has this (http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2009/1 ... index.html) interesting review of long pants with hidden cycling features, like chamois and reflectors.
The pants are designed for commuters who need decent daks for work but don't want to arrive sweaty, sore, or dead.
