Conditions - Noreaster, gusty at times

Riders - Alex R, Nick, Micklan

Results - unknown except I got a 3rd in C grade, av speed 35.10 kms

In a nutshell... all day it was very slow over the pimples due to noreaster. On the last lap I hit the gas up last pimple into the wind - 2 riders came with me; a Sutherland rider (Kieren) winning the 1st place. On the second last corner prior to the straight I went high and my back tyre rolled, I thought it may have come off the rim but it hang on - so did I, down the looooooong straight to hang on to 3rd. (Beanzy's correct: one will never win with a sprint from the pimples )

Post presentation I changed my tube as indeed the slow flat I had on the last lap - was indeed by this time flat. Top fun with some neat riders....

I have beer in stock - I purchased a bbq chicken on the way home...now $2 left from the winnings - hmm let me see, what can I get with that....2/3 of a sat newspaper, a snail pastry from arncliffe, half a new inner tube, 1/2 a single ticket from Rockdale to the city - woo hoo endless options
