Spotted: Stuart, Peter B and Andrew H ok their way back from the MC Ride in Bondi Junction. I was walking to the train from my parents house so my 'spotted' was a little late and quite feeble owing to the strange looks I got from other commuters.

Spotted in CP around 7:00 am an unidentified DHBC liveried rider overtaking Nick and I as we battled the wind and rising heart rates!
That was me I think. Greetings and Merry X'mas! I was chatting with a fellow rider and didn't get a chance to slow down and greet. Next time. You guys rode in style!Spotted in CP around 7:00 am an unidentified DHBC liveried rider overtaking Nick and I as we battled the wind and rising heart rates!
Spotted Al Sumner doing secret Christmas Eve hill training climbing the very steep section of Holden St, Ashbury.
About 3 weeks ago I spotted him sitting on the side of the road with his bicycle, looking remorseful in his red DH jersey at the corner of the Kingsway and the Pacific Hwy, Gymea.
What is he up to?

Cool! I haven't had a chance to see it yet. Andrew Belford was also there in a DHBC top and AliG in a purple top. Was a cracking day out and we all made it up the Corkscrew first!

Good to see the correct bike speak is being used by the DHBC'ers "The Corkscrew". It was most annoying that they were calling it "Corkscrew rd" on TV, even Anthony Tam. They even displayed Corkscrew rd street sign.

Last night at Brighton-Le-Sands, 6:30pm, turning across Bay St from Francis Ave into Crawford Rd. Couldn't make out who is was, but the choice of red club jersey with fluro yellow socks and backpack cover made for an interesting combination.
Spotted on Beach Rd Dulwich Hill a younger chap on a flat bar roadie around 8am. I don't recall seeing him before and it was a very bright and shiny new looking jersey.
Mark Hales on Victoria St Lewisham, near the station. I shouted "spotted" and I think I frightened him, sorry. looked like he was wearing a TDU jersey from 2011 or 12

I think John Caley, wearing a helmet in Newtown, has been used by the Courier Mail to illustrate an article about a man not wearing a helmet in Qld. See image at bottom of article, if you dare to click through.
Yeah that was me Phil. I had come close enough to convincing myslef to try a second Audax ride on Sat that I decided to rest up all week. Then I scared myself off with the thought of having a break down half way out to Goulburn so I pulled out.

I was taking it easy but someone passed me. Doesn't that mean they want a race? You should be tapering peter. Not honing with the NRS guys.
Peter Bownes at the corner of Fitzroy and Sydenham rds, trying to cross over. I drove pass him beeping incessantly and waving but I doubt if he could make out who it was through the windscreen.

Haha. Sorry about that Mike! Where was that? I'm guessing George St as I've seen you a few times along there. I was having an issue with a Hire Car (who I vote as worst than taxi drivers on the road) who was intentionally not letting me through on the green light to turn right on to George even though he was going straight along Market St (one way street) and was stuck in traffic.

Spotted Todd Vogel turning into Unwins Bridge Rd with another unidentified DHBCer, probably heading home in the rain from cancelled Waterfall(?), as were Nick and I having surrendered our Kurnell excursion on the Grand Parade. And of course now the sky is clear!
Colin, that was Andrew Belford and I this morning. Realised it was you and Nick once you had passed. There were 6 to 8 riders at the cafe. The BOM rain app showed showers clearing to the south. As ride leader for today I was unable to convince anyone to ride so Andrew Belford and I set off. I parted company with Andrew at Bestic Street went home, changed to a dry kit and Kerry and I completed a "dry" ride to Kurnell. Although I have two very dirty Lynskeys to clean. Glad we rode!!!
Will probably do Kurnell next Saturday Colin if you and Nick are interested - will PM you during the week.
Was that a new bike I spotted Colin?
