Hi Everyone,

Good to be back at it in earnest for the New Year. Welcome back to everyone, including Phil, Hannah and Thomas from Southern Cross.

Training concentrated on sprints this week. The stats are attached as usual. Some times there for seniors as well - email me at: trevort@bigpond.net.au if you want to receive them, but are not on the DHBC Juniors email list.

Team Pursuit
DHBC Juniors will be holding a trial to select the riders for their Pursuit Team on the 31st of January. All U17 men with a racing licence are welcome to try out. The team will be selected on best times to make it fair for everyone. Attending training on Monday from 6pm, Wednesday from 5.30pm and rollers on Thursday, will certainly improve you performance and chances of being selected. The race will be held in February, so time is of the essence. Bill Bolton - will you be back in time?

Licences
A quick reminder that you are not allowed to ride on the track without the proper clothing, equipment and a licence. It is your responsibility to renew your licence whether racing or recreational category. If you have any questions about this or need help with licence renewal don't hesitate to contact me. It is easy to renew your licence on-line at the Cycling Australia website.

Jessica and Simon
DHBC Juniors would like to extend their best wishes to Simon Llewellyn and Jessica Norman who are tying the knot this weekend, ahead of a month long honeymoon. We wish you a long and happy life together.

Medal
This week's medal goes to Chris Venville for excellent record keeping!

That's all for now,
Till next time,
Keep on rolling.
Michelle Brown
DHBC Juniors.
