No dice. The one they stock are the BBB Fuel Tank cages which I think are what is already on the bike.

Hey Vic,

If you just need another bidon mount for the trip, I have a bolt on handlebar mounted one you could use.

That would be really cool if you can find it.

Mike I cable tied a bottle cage onto my fixie. Not really keen on running that kind of setup for a week of touring :)

I have a plastic band that you put around your frame that gives you cage bosses. I have one that is currently not on a bike if you want to borrow it and I can find it.

When you dig it out, can you note the brand name and I do a search as I want to buy one for my fixie

I couldn't find them locally when I wanted them so I ordered them from wiggle.

I have a brand new set of those bands sitting in my gear room. While I am sure they work just fine, but I haven't tested them. I don't want to run them touring because when something breaks in the middle of nowhere I'm not going to be able to fix it. Would much prefer a bolt on solution considering I have mounts.

I should probably add that I am overly fastideous when touring on my own and spend each morning checking every damn bolt on bike and Bob. So something that doesn't bolt is a little scary. Guess I just don't ever want to be involved in any kind of hairy situation when I've got 30kg of load on the back.

If you don't want them, I'll have them

James I didn't make it down to the track tonight. Any chance you can pack it in your things for Tassie?

Thanks heaps.
