Today we've added the fourth member of our Tour de Chaise Madam Macquarie... Michael McKennedy.

This is a ride through the city after Sat Slowies ride in Centennial Park. Prior to this, we've had Michael C, Chris and myself.

PS. Michael, PM me your email address and I'll send a copy of the original to you.

And Chris is the other member,

This photo is definitely a classic. Michael, will I get fired if I print it out and post it on the whiteboard in your work area?

No, but I will make sure that you never leave continuous improvement!

Obviously that is the before photo

Congratulations on doing the tour. I bet they never told you they'd be taking your photo did they?

Excellent morning today and the next stage of Le Tour continues...

I found my kind whilst there...

Image

Not exactly sure what Mike was thinking though.

Image

And this next one was just too ridiculous! Maybe it explained what subsequently happened to Mike 15 mins later at Circular Quay...

The pants were due to be binned anyway, but I would of rather kept my skin.

The miracle of skin, it's renewable... Until you are old and decrepit. Same can't be said of those knicks. :?

Wonder if you can get knicks with hip protection?

Yes you can. There's a model of knick that has side panel reinforcement using kevlar fabric or similar. It was advertised and sold on one of the US web sites. Just prior to that, I thought I had a brilliant patentable idea. :?

Nice granulation forming. Maybe we can restart the shave vs no shave discussion again.

Lost the front end going around a corner.

There's nothing left to shave on my left one.

Kid, that bike was made 20 years before you were born. Now give me my bike back and go play on rail road tracks.

The beast makes you look faster. Logic being that the crappier the bike the more impressive the pace is.

Couldn't find the balance point for the one handed hold

Well bugger me... I thought you'd photoshopped the first picture, and shrunk the frame to fit, but I was obviously wrong.

Probably just the angle of the photo. Also cos I've got injured shoulders, My elbows are pointing out and I think this contributes to the appearance that the top tube is small.

God, everything on you is injured. I think the bike is normal size, but you are just one enormous swollen bag of pus.

Our Irish visitor David Quigs came and rode in our Tour this morning along with veteran rider Chris. Geoff crashed the tour with a SCC jersey... I think we need to drug test him.

It was a wet morning ride with two punctures along the way by Geoff and Chris. I found it highly suspicious that Chris called for his flat in the middle of the strip in Kings Cross and took ages to repair. I think he was distracted...

Enjoy the photos.

Continuing with our international theme. Chris on Sat met Nick of Hitchin Nomads Cycling Club <http://www.hitchin-nomads.net/> from London in Centennial Park. Nick rode on a folding bike and participated in our post Centennial Park tour. Happy cycling in Sydney!

Traditional photo spot...

And kicking the tyres and generally checking out that folding bike...

I think we need to set up a permanent 'International Postcard' thread.

We could transfer all photos of international guests to this.

I wonder which tourist from which country we will escort on the Tour of Lady Macquaries Chair next?

Hi Wieyun

The Lidcombe guys leave Ashfield Cylces at Liverpool Road at 6am.
Two weeks ago they went to Bondi, I followed them to Cente but they also go up north towards Bobbin Head.
