I'm coveting a set of these to use as race wheels.
I've seen them on-line for $1410, which seems like a lot of bling for the money.

Never having ridden tubulars, can I ask: are they more trouble than they are worth?
Will I go faster?

My mate who rides with his tubular zipp 303s was looking to switch to clinchers because of the relative grief with tubulars on the road.
From what I understand, after you replace a tubular on the road, basically you need to nurse the bike back and not take any corners at speed etc.

If he wants to sell them make sure he posts here first! They'd be good race wheels and my "shared" wheels never seem to get shared with me .... (Hi Jo)

Look at the cost benefit analysis.

You may go slightly faster but when you get a flat that will really cost you big time.

Is it really worth the effort?
