Anyone got a crank puller tool for shimano standard thread that I could borrow? Hopefully someone going to track tomorrow night ?

I have one. It's the same tool for Shimano and Campag and anyone else's. You can borrow it, but I won't be down the track until Wednesday.

I am in need of a Shimano bottom bracket removal tool. Looks something like this. Would be keen to pick up one for a few days at the same time if possible...

Actually don't even need it for a few days. Need it for about 15 minutes. I will bring my frame down to the track. Just need to pull out a Shimano bottom bracket, and insert an Old Super Record one. Shimano bottom bracket is potentially available to the person who lends me the tool.

I'm changing my cranks at the track tomorrow night, so I'll also have a crank puller there. Will also bring my lucky pedal spanner.

Toff - I have one of those Shimano BB tools - I'll keep it in my bag in case I see you at the track sometime soon.

Alex, thanks. Will bring my bike down to the track on Wednesday, because I will also need to borrow some tools to install the new BB.

Incedentally, the seatpost we were discussing is 200mm long. It has 150mm of clearance from the limit mark to the rails, so if you need more height than that, it's no good. I think I have another 27.0 too, so I'll try and dig that one up before Wednesday.
