Hi guys,
This is my first posting as I just joined about 2 weeks ago.
I have come into possession of an old lightweight racer from, I am told, the late 60s and early 70s.
There are no identifying marks or decals (someone pasted some latter day ones probably in the 80s but they will be coming off in a clean up soon). There is only a 'A' stamped in the top of the seat post tube and a '31' with a very very tiny star and club stamp directly above it.
I am told the frame has mid to high end components and a 27mm (maybe more) seat post. Told that would indicate it has Reynolds 531 tubing. I live in Ashbury.
Any suggestions where I'd be able to get more info?
Regards
marc

Bottom bracket, star and clover barely visible.

Am told it has high end French Nervex lugs all around.

Ignore the decals - 'Superb Sport'. Someone stuck it on later probably, not me.
