well yes, I'm going to give track riding a go. Hoping to start doing Wed nights now that its warmed up. But, I need a bike that fits.
My road bike is 56cm TT so I guess that's where I should start. So, looking for a cheap steel or alloy frame or a complete bike in the < $1k range.
Wanted - Size 56 Track Bike for a beginner
I might have someting that would suit. I'll measure it

Thanks Noog - I just checked it out nice bike, although we would have to freight it from Brisbane, I have put an inquiry on it anyway
This looks good for a begineer like me and it's the perfect size >> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BT-STEALTH-T ... 335wt_1398
Heaps of riders were using these at the GP yesterday so they must be good!
There's also this steel frame 'fixie' which seems pretty cheap, although 23" = about 58cm which is huge - not sure about then using it on the track though? Any clues?
