Looks like David (Quigs) made it back to Ireland. Or is he posting them from backpacker cafes whilst Immigration put out a search for him??

Toff's bike does lots of modelling (with and without tyres)

Hi Geoff, made it back a couple of days ago, still too beat to consider looking at a bike, maybe this weekend, instantly ill on arrival, got off the plane in a tshirt to temperatures of 4 degrees ! Quite a shock to the system it seems. Up in Airlie beach I did try to hire a mountain bike, but couldn't ride it at all and just cut my losses, instead convincing myself that bumming around checking out the talent was exercise enough.

Broke my laptop a couple of days after I left Sydney so it took me a while to get these up.

I mention it in the (half finished) article on the site, but thanks again for everything guys.

Quigs...

I've just seen your posting here and now read your log about your trip to Australia and ride with us.

For anyone who hasn't read it, its a good read and found as follows:

A great report, and thanks very much for the kind words about our club. I know the 'brotherhood' extends in many other clubs as well, not just us. Certainly in Slaney Cylcing Club, and I'm sure in Comeragh CC as and when some of us visit Waterford Ireland.

I sent a quick email to Liam R in SCC with the photo of us sprinting on the finish line with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background. He sent me back a reply as well as posted on the SCC Club site!
