Sounded like one of those project that's too ambitious and tries to do too much. Control through a smartphone just narrows the market and bumps up the complexity.

What a boost for commuters. Encourage the less athletic to commute. Linking smartphone technology is a natural progression. Launched in 2009 but only heard of this now
Hope it hasn't flopped.

The fact that it has remained a vapourware says a lot. If a startup project does not show signs of life within 18 months...
