I am keen for some K's. Although the forecast says early showers. If the weather's nice, I'll come.

I'm confirmed for tomorrow pending weather (too lazy to swap out race wheels tonight and not ready to be brave with carbon clinchers in wet).

This sounds like my kind of ride. I've only ever done waterfall in, Audley out. Would this be the plan again? Happy and open to new challenges though.

Thanks guys for a great ride and for waiting for me after the hills!
Already looking forward to next time.

Yeah thanks for the ride to Waterfall guys - couldn't have done it without you.
Sorry that no one came with me to Stanwell Tops. You all missed out on something really special. I've never seen whales and dolphins somersaulting in unison - truly amazing.
Next time, make the effort

I think this coming Sunday it is Audley in.
I intend enter at Audley, go through to Waterfall, turn around and go back through the park again for a bit of extra up.
If anyone would like to join me and is patient enough to wait for my "Moderate Middies" pace i would be more than happy to have your company.
6am at The Marrick as usual. Very slim chance of Unicorns. Very strong chance of Triffids.

I'll be doing the park this Sunday also. My legs are still hurting from the epic, so definitely need some more pain before Fitz. I'll follow you in but I think I'll need to head on to Stanwell Park and then turn around and do the Bald Hill climb. Maybe twice, but then maybe I'm dreaming.

Anthony, this one took me 5.5 hours including a coffee at Stanwell ParkPhillip,
Ballpark, what time do you expect to get hone doing Bald Hill once? twice?
so probably about the same or longer if I do Bald Hill twice.

I'd be there if I wasn't cheering at the Jnr Nationals. Bald Hill is pretty and all, but really you want to do The Wall. 4 x repeats for Philip.
Sheeze, I fold on a few rides and I'm singled out for special punishment. Harsh !. Bald Hill is pretty and all, but really you want to do The Wall. 4 x repeats for Philip.

Philip, for bonus points, please make (my annual Fitz's roommate), Ben, suffer. I would if I was there, so it's the least you could do.
Thanks guys for a great trip through the park. And thanks for waiting for me numerous times.
My first time up Bald Hill. Having ridden down a number of times I was a bit scared but it didn't seem that bad. Certainly doesn't compare with The Wall.
Next time I think I need to organise a cooler day. 41 max temp on my Garmin and I felt every bit of it.

Top day. Everyone safe. Thanks Anthony and all the really friendly group - can't ask for more. You better point me to the rule book as I don't want a spanking. So while we are quoting rules, I have a solid dose of rule 7 and found myself quoting rule 5 to myself as I tried to hang on the back while Keith and Andrew punched tirelessly into the wind on the way home.

Tomorrow (20 Oct) 6am at The Marrick – Audley in – no extra shenanigans, just a solid hunk of burning pace*. Or something.

This has grown into a fairly popular ride of about 10 plus every week and sometimes pushing 15 plus. THere probably is demand for two groups, C28s and closer to Middies, and hopefully other riders from the C28s can start to join in rather than always doing the Waterfall ride.
Hence the "C28's Version" tagline meaning we don't have to destroy ourselves trying to keep up with middies pace riders on the way to and through the park and to encourage some C28 riders to come along. I'll be doing this every other week (with some variants I'd expect) starting in Feb as training for the Beechworth Gran FondoThis has grown into a fairly popular ride of about 10 plus every week and sometimes pushing 15 plus. Just wanted to say thanks to Anthony and Ben for hanging back and riding with me. Also thank you to the two gents who rode back to check up on me near the Waterfall exit. It was a great ride but I'm obviously not ready for a 28s pace through RNP. I made it as far as Sans Souci but then my legs, and my resolve, finally gave up and I ended up catching a train home from Rockdale...following which I downed a kebab like there was no tomorrow (Good recovery food!).
Cheers,
Rajiv
Cheers,

A big turnout saw 20+ starters this morning with only 4 middies. The C28's group was 18 strong and it all came together after artillery hill. A lovely morning out on the bike, I just need to get my powers of observation happening as I was sure I was last rider as I turned for the Waterfall climb but Rajiv & Anthony K were still behind me. Apologies for that. Also, a great slow moving paceline on the return from Waterfall. I'll be doing this again.
Thanks Stuart, it was clearly the right suggestion at the right time. A great turnout. I got to the end thinking that 4 hours sleep was definitely a performance killer but my average speed was far better than I expected so clearly the bunch were travelling at a fair clip.
Thanks all for waiting for me to crawl up the hills.
