Strava Base Mile Challenge and a small boast.

Well, you see, Strava had this Base Mile Challenge in January where you had to ride as many miles as you could.

The Australian who rode furthest (and came 2nd overall) DurianRider, did 3,871 miles. Clearly mad (but a vegan).

29 people from DHBC entered with John Nguyen topping the leaderboard with 1490m.

Not far behind was Lizanne on 1393m.

Then Jake Grierson on 1,113m,
me on 963 and
James Fowler on 845.

Today I got an email from Strava telling me my Goulburn Audax ride (287km) in January was the longest ride ridden by any woman in the challenge. And they are sending me a small prize even!!

(actually it was really a 300km ride and I forgot to push the start button at the beginning).

Just a bit excited!

That was the most polite and dare I say "Presidential" boast I've ever read. I'd be shouting it from the rooftops.

Congratulations, big, big congratulations!!! They need a new strava trophy, QOE - Queen of Endurance or perhaps Queen of Everything,

Nice one Eleri! In the meantime, there are some questions on Durianrider's result and his 60 bananas a day diet.

Yes, well he's an odd one. I say that based on some of his videos.
