Just bought these and have found that they're too small for insulated bottles like Camelbak. Hold smaller size bottles perfectly & club and "normal" bottles fine.

Top Features of the Elite Custom Race Bottle Cage 2012: The number 1 bottle cage in the pro peloton, a true design classic which is also self-adjusting. These cages were used by over half the starting riders in the Tour De France, including Mark Cavendish, Thor Hushovd, Bradley Wiggins and Cadel Evans.

Tough composite plastic construction is durable and light
Added rubber tensioner grips bottles tightly for peace of mind in sprints and on rough sections

That's weird.

I have these bottle cages - at least I think I do.

Maybe Elite changed the size - but I'd be surprised if they did.

I too use the Camelbak 710ml insulated bottles and they do need a little persuasion but they do fit snugly into the cage. In some ways I find this very reassuring.

It's always very annoying (and dangerous) when someone's bottle in the bunch jumps out going over a speed hump.

I have the 600ml Camelbak bottles and they sure don't fit ... I want to be able to just place the bottle in the cage, not have to "work it" in ...
