Good day guys, the track data base section of the track page has been updated to include maps and some information on each track....

Website update. Track data bases more complete...
Simon
Not sure about your location for Tempe Velodrome, I had a look at the map link you provided, and you had it on the Princess Highway.
Here is a link to it on Google Maps
Tempe Velodrome
Is there any particular reason you used Multi Map? Or is that just what you are familiar with?

I'm pretty sure it is Tim. Dad took the photo.
I just realised how many spelling mistakes there are throughout the pages. I"ll fix them when I get a chance...

I don't think any of us have raced there, but I took some pics of the new (2006) Coffs Harbour velodrome and crit circuit when I was up there over Christmas. I can post them here when I get the chance if you like.
Just some further info on velodrome lengths, Goulburn is 396 metres and Unanderra 270 metres.
And Simon is spot on with Muswellbrook, it's a must ride track - It is the shortest track in Australia (the next smallest are 200m) and the closest thing to riding a short European 6 day race tracks you'll find in Australia.

Hey that would be great! I didn't even think about coffs, because we generally don't enjoy driving that far for racing...I don't think any of us have raced there, but I took some pics of the new (2006) Coffs Harbour velodrome and crit circuit when I was up there over Christmas. Changed. It's funny I've ridden all these tracks a number of times but I keep forgetting to write down the lengths. When I look at these pages I keep saying to myself "next season I will do some conveyancing".Just some further info on velodrome lengths, Goulburn is 396 metres and Unanderra 270 metres.

Lidcombe & Coffs updated, just awaiting photos....
Coffs Harbour Velodrome
Length: 333 m
Surface: Asphalt
Opened: Nov 2005
Bank angle: minimal
Back turn. Section of crit track in foreground.
Home straight
Nice new hot-mix asphalt
Start-Finish line
The velodrome sits up on a bit of a rise, with an 830 m crit track running around the outside. I raced here while I was up over Christmas (and won ). A right-hand corner 50 m after the start plunges down into another quick right-hander dropping off the bed of the velodrome. Lower section includes a straight leading to a couple of fast twists. Finish includes a sharp incline to ascend the bed of the velodrome, with a 50 m flat stretch to the line.
The velodrome complex is in a rough part of town. I was talking to the organiser of the crit racing, who mentioned that there was always a lot of broken glass to sweep off the track before racing each week. Sure enough, when I re-visited a couple of days later to take these photos, a bunch of smashed alco-pop bottles, along with a stick mag, quickly turning to pulp following the morning's shower.
