Hi,
Is the La Pa ride on Thursdays? Also what pace is it?
Can't find details of the mid week rides on the forum, sorry.
Most likely have tomorrow free for ride.
Also is there any moderately paced hill rides? I miss hills (yes am a weird person who likes the pain plus alter needed for rehab) so any hints on good hill loops to do from an inner west start at Leichhardt.
Cool bananas
Bill

Hi Bill,
Unfortunately the LaPa ride is on Wednesdays leaving the cafe at 6:00am. So you've missed it for this week. Read all about it here.
Yes, we do have a hills ride that leaves the cafe at 5:30am on Tuesday mornings. You can read all about that one here. We do a loop of the Eastern Suburbs hills. This is a faster ride than the La Pa ride due to time constraints for a lot of people who have to get to work.
See you next week!
Jo

Can someone familiar with all 3 rides comment on what is the pace/effort like comparing DHBC Tues Hills compared to the Thursday MC Cyclery 5 Hills ride compared to the Wednesday LaPa ride please?
I'm interested but also trying to avoid a potentially lonely ride on unfamiliar roads...
Thanks!

The DHBC hills ride is certainly quick which is what I think Stuart was alluding too. We go at approximately middies pace. BUT we regroup at the top of hills if you can't keep up.DHBC Tue Eastern Hills: I've not done it but have heard things ....
DHBC Wed LaPa: C28's pace mostly.
MC 5 Hills: C28's and they wait at the top of the climbs for slower riders
I haven't done the MC ride for a good few months but when I did it I struggled to hang on. Same with the DHBC ride but I am in a better position to yell at everyone to slow down.
La Pa is much cruisier (unless Keith W and John M are on the front).
