For those that need magnifiers for reading or Garmin glancing here are a couple of links where you can source affordable half-moon soft magnifying lenses that can be temporarily attached to the inside of your favourite sunnies. Attachment requires just a drop of water and a steady hand. If you want to transfer them to other glasses just peel off, rinse and repeat.
Great idea, road tested by me during a couple of brisk and windy RNP runs and at Slowies yesterday, and enthusiastically admired at the cafe by senior members (ahem) of the club.
No idea how durable they will be but much cheaper and more flexible solution than the limited models of sunnies with built-in magnifying sections, the styling of which are questionable, especially for those with lots of sunny miles under the belt and skin elasticity issues below it, above it, and behind it.

Cheap magnifiers for the sunnies of wrinklies
I have several pairs of Dual Eyewear SL2 Pro sunnies (one dark lenses, one clear for early mornings) that have served me well but they are now $95 and the nose bridge wears out and they don't sell replacement parts. http://www.wildfiresports.com.au/dual-e ... ro-glasses
I'll give these a try for sure.
