Saw this article a while back and had wondered where it had gone and now its been brought back to my attention.

So there's no need for you girls to flutter your eye lids at the boys when you get a flat, here's a girl who can fix flats without using tyre leavers.

I would like to see her try that on my Campy rims with Vittoria tyres, even with tyre levers they are nigh on impossible to get off...

No chance with Campy rims on ANY sort of tyre in my experience.

On Sunday, I broke a lever trying to get lew's tyre off to replace the tube after he'd had the sidewall ripped by a small rock that he ran over.

It took both Hugh and I to get the tyre back on. It was an old Velocity rim, can't remember the brand of tyre.

Have to get the social director to organise a tyre changing competition, lubricated with a few glasses of fine ale :)

I want to have a go at a campy rim. Who's got one that I can test out?

I used to carry all the gear to do the emergency tube change with Rainbow, until I changed tyres and it took 3 tyre leavers and Simon and I both struggling to get both the Vittorias off to put the Continentals back on!!! My velocity spartacus rims are crazy!

So I changed my pedal and shoes over so I have SPD's on for the emergency walk till I find myself an assistant with brut strength, and just carry 650 tubes, lol.
