Guys here it is after week one but not yet updated for wk 2, we are sitting in 9th place out of 27 clubs! 6 places better than last year! But we need to keep getting out there in numbers if we want to maintain this position and hopefully climb the team ladder!!!

7th place and climbing! I think we can really crack the top 5 this year!!! We just need bums on saddles at dunc on a friday night, it is as simple as that! The more the merrier....

But overall we are really having a fantatsic season this year as a club, we have more podiums than I can remember in 3 wks of racing... and possbly one of the largest contingents at the tavern afterwards. That's a fantatsic effort!!!! If AL was a beer drinker he would be proud that you are all taking up the FREE beer. In fact I feel Al may of become a beer drinker is he was 60yrs younger. I mean I don't think I have seen him turn down a freeby yet!

I wonder what our position would be if they calculated results on a "per capita" of club members. Some of the clubs above us are pretty big. Similar to what the ABS have done for the Olympics in the past -

Somewhere buried is a spreadsheet with the membership numbers by club in NSW. I can't seem to find it, but if your interested then PM Geoff M to see if he has a copy knocking around.

Of course even this isn't perfect, as different clubs have different focus.

I just write down all the results on Friday. Then I use the point system that Crafty posts out in the news letter and apply it to the previous week’s results.
It may not be 100% correct but I am pretty confident it is right.

wow artson, your up late!
im ever impressed with your mathamatical genious though, in watching the races and putting up the tally :D

pity about going down to lidcomb, but we were missing alot of riders, well 4 or so. lucky for us i think randwick were down a bit too, though they have a couple of new riders i think.

Lidcomb have riders back from things though dont they? with all those young lads around the place? i guess we should maybe be aiming for randwick to keep our 5th spot possible.

DHBCC should be aiming for 3rd place
if you had just two new riders there on Friday you would be in 3rd already

I think that is strongly possible!!!

We're slipping down the latter a bit, but it's good to see a regular group of people going week in week out!

Cheers guys I didn't think we would ever be this high up on the points score, well not this soon anywayz...
